Trying RapidLash and RapidBrow for Lashes and Brows

A couple of weeks ago, I received what I can only describe as one of my favourite beauty deliveries of 2018. It wasn’t a grand scale, huge box of overly expensive premium skincare – which some of you may assume when I say it was one of my favourites. It was actually a ‘Party Prep’ influencer box filled with products I genuinely needed, from the brand RapidLash.

For those who aren’t too familiar with the brand, they are the brand who retail the award-winning, clinically-proven RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum, along with the RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum (also clinically-proven and award-winning).

The party prep box also contained a RapidShield Daily Eyelash Conditioner and a RapidRenew Skin Perfecting Polish, giving me the full set to play with.

Now when it comes to my brows and lashes, I’m half lucky and half unlucky. My brows and lashes are both naturally thick and dark – even though my hair is naturally light brown. I’ve always had thick textured almost black brow and lash hairs, which is great nowadays, but not so much circa 2005!

The unlucky side is that they grow fairly slow. And if a lash falls out, or I’ve over plucked my brows, the replacement is very sluggish at coming through. Now that bushier, fuller brows are all the trend, this can become soooo irritating.

So before I share my thoughts, lets have a look at this cult product RapidLash®  and why the Lash Enhancing Serum is so raved about.

It contains Hexatein™ 1 Complex, a blend of lash-enhancing ingredients, which work together to target eyelashes from every angle. RapidLash® is said to help to fight damaging environmental elements and premature fallout by nourishing and strengthening lashes.

It also delivers essential proteins, vitamins, and moisturising and rejuvenating ingredients, encouraging the best growth you can get.

How To Use RapidLash®

Before applying RapidLash®, the brand advise you clean and dry the eye area. Then, taking the applicator brush, simply apply a thin line of RapidLash® to the base of the upper eyelashes starting from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner, along the base of the lash line. RapidLash® can also be applied to the lower lash line, although take great care to avoid direct contact with the eye.

It’s kind of similar to apply liquid eyeliner, except you’re more cautious to get the lashes, and not the eyelid.

Wait until it has fully dried before applying any additional cosmetics. Best results are said to be seen after 8 weeks.

How To Use RapidBrow

Working in a similar way to RapidLash, this brow enhancing serum helps transform weak, uneven, sparse brows into healthier looking more beautiful brows. Again, it’s created with an exclusiv Hexatein™ 2 Complex, a unique blend of fortytifying proteins, stimulating peptides and nourising ingredients designed to help condition, restore and repair the appearance of eyebrows in 60 days.

To use, simply apply RapidBrow® with the easy-to-use mini brush with a few quick strokes twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. For best results, it is recommended to continue to use it for at least eight weeks.

How Did I Find Them?

As mentioned above, my problem is sluggish growth. And with thicker, fuller looking brows and lashes being the big beauty trend of the moment (and it looks like it is going nowhere), it’s a real bug bear trying to get them both fuller and thicker – quicker!

Lets start with RapidLash. I’ve tried to stop using false lashes and heavy mascaras much during the time I’ve been using this product, mainly because that’s when I tend to accidently loose more lashes than normal.

It’s been a month of using this product, and I can honestly say that the volume of my lashes have hugely improved. So much so that other people have noticed! My lashes aren’t particularly longer, but there seems to be more of them, with a thicker denisity, looking darker and fuller in general!

I’d read all the reviews on this product beforehand and pretty much 99% of users seem overly satisfied, raving about the improvement in longer, faster growing, thicker lashes. I didn’t think I’d see the same sort of result so quickly, but I really have and I can’t begin to explain how much I’m impressed!

So onto the RapidBrow. My brows don’t bother me as much as my lashes, as I stopped plucking at them years ago, and I don’t loose hairs the same way here. But, I’ll always want them a little more thicker and fuller, and although I know a product can’t magically grow new hairs, this one defintley seems to encourage growth of sluggish brow hairs that lie beneath.

It seems to encourage the growth of hairs that may be lying dormant after so many years of plucking. I found the results are slower to come through than the RapidLash, but after a month, I’ve got faster growing re-growth under my arch line.

I’m really keen to keep trying this RapidBrow for the next 6 weeks, and see what I find after giving it a good 2 and a half months.

Watch this space!

Both products aren’t cheap, but I can completely see why. These are your quality growth products that do what they say. The RapidLash costs £39.99, and the RapidBrow comes in at £37. Both are available at Boots.

A huge thank you to the brand for letting me try these cult products. I’m so happy to finally join in with their current army of fans. And here’s to 2019 – a year of fuller, thicker brows and lashes!
