Hundreds of fashion and beauty brands, non-stop catwalk shows and leading industry experts all in one place – Birmingham’s NEC. Yes ladies tomorrow is a very exciting day – I’m off to the annual Clothes Show Live.
From the 3-8 December, The Clothes Show is back and is bigger than ever for 2010. It has a few little extras this year, including a new craft area, Sknitch and The Dance Show. They have also managed to bring in some fab celebrities to host the shows, with the line up featuring Gok Wan, Arlene Phillips, George Lamb and Caryn Franklin. I am especially excited for The Fashion Theatre, where I’m sure I’ll be blown away with this years catwalk show. The last time I attended The Clothes Show Live, I was treated to a performance by The Saturdays, so I am expecting another great performance to be shown on Saturday morning!
Last time I attended, I got so carried away with buying clothes, and stocked up on make-up like it was going out of fashion! I’ve heard so far to expect to see brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Fake Bake, Gossard, Paul’s Boutique, Jelly Pong Pong, Toni&Guy, Lush and Carmex. Shopping temptation is going to be extreme!
If your going to be attending, here’s a few things to look out for and more importantly, to look forward to!
The Gatecrasher DJ Bar
Kit Kat Senses Cafe
The Style Show
Red Carpet Designer Catwalk
The Art Deco Cocktail Bar
Something I’ll be looking out for – at Sknitch, they are holding a frilly knicker workshop, so you can take away a pair of frilly knickers made by yourself! I will undoubtably be unleashing my creative side there!
Have a look on What Emma Did over the weekend for an account on the event and what I got up to!
