I absolutely adore wearing denim, and the one thing I hate doing is folding away my denim skinny jeans when the warmer months arrive. I just find denim jeans a life saver for me. The skinny styles go perfectly well with an fitted or oversized shirts, t-shirts, vests or more dressy styles, ans also work with a range of coats and jackets I have.
When I recently went to update my wardrobe a little for the Summer months, I decided that this year, it doesn’t have to mean that I kiss goodbye to my trusty fitted jeans.
I mean, we’ve still had a lot of rain, and I’m not sure we’re going to get that many blazing hot weeks here in the UK, right?
I recently discovered a new online retailer called just your outfit, and it was their white skinny ripped jeans that gave me the idea of opting for lighter denims this Summer.
The ones I’m wearing in the photos above and below have just become my new favourites! The skinny fit is perfect to pair with loose shirts and casual tee’s, yet I’d also team these up with a bandeau style top and blazer for evenings out.
I’d actually take these white skinnies away with me on holiday, as sometimes the evenings can be cold and jeans are always a fail safe for pairing with little evening tops. Plus, you can’t beat a good pair of fitted jeans to wear when wondering around seeking out a nice restaurant!
The fresh white colour and the sassy rips have led to these getting so many compliments when I’ve recently worn these out for a day out in Manchester.
You can find these over at the just your outfit for a super affordable £20 here.
Anddddd still speaking of denim, the next outfit I’ve styled up is always a versatile little denim number again from just your outfit. This time I decided to opt for a dress version which I can wear with or without tights, weather dependant.
Denim dungaree style dresses never really date. They tend to be a classic and timeless item, which can be dressed up or down depending on time of the year, trends and occasions.
Here, I styled mine up over an oversized black t-shirt dress and slim fitting black ankle boots. I went for no tights as we had a stroke of lovely weather as I headed out for a Sunday roast in Cheshire.
I feel like although I’ve dressed this dark denim dungaree skirt dress up a little, you can easily add a more casual vibe by layering it over a baggy tee. It costs just £28, and this is definitely now a very valuable member of my all-time classic wardrobe.
I’m always a fan of sharing the new online fashion retailers I come across, and just your outfit is the latest one I got pretty excited about! I like to put outfits together which cost around £50 for the look, and this is one of those that lets me do just that without sacrificing on style or quality.
They currently have a brilliant new in section for women which gets updated regularly with the months newest styles. I’ve already got my eye on a few festival style jackets and canvas trainers!
