Some of you may know (if you follow me on Instagram) that December was a complete write off for me, much to my disappointment! I sadly came down with two horrific infections from my trip to Marrakesh earlier on in December, which left me floored for a full two weeks – which just so happened to be the week over Christmas.
So it’s pretty safe to say my December became ‘Dry December’ unintentionally, and my parties, nights out and Christmas get-togethers had to be knocked on the head.
Luckily I’m back on my feet now, therefore January is now my December! Which means getting my gladrags on and finding an excuse to party.
One of my favourite dresses I can’t wait to wear is this Flounce One Shoulder Dress from online fashion retailer Freda Funk. It’s super sassy and pretty with an oversized ruffle sitting on one shoulder, and the rest of the dress being a figure hugging burgundy bodycon.
It’s mini in length but not too mini. It’s fine for me to wear without tights, and it looks extra special worn with stilettos.
How stylish and pretty is it?! It costs £29.99 from Freda Funk, and I’m wearing the size 6 in these photos.
Freda Funk is a new online clothing brand, one I had heard of recently with working closely with the fashion industry being an influencer. The brand is trend led and offers high end fashion, with that extra touch of edge, class, and FUNK to ladies wardrobes.
Fredafunk has been founded by two good friends, looking to go on a crazy adventure, to find something new and exciting to whammy everyone. The two ladies are no other than celebrity Charlotte Dawson, and her friend Kirsty Fieldhouse.
I personally feel they have hit the nail on the head. The outfits are pretty and versatile, appealing to a wide audience of fashionable ladies at affordable prices.
I also got my hands on this stunning Satin Front Twist Maxi Dress, again in a deep burgundy shade. Now this dress is something else, like one of my favourite occasion dresses. It’s kinda half sensible and traditional with it’s long sleeves and flowing length, yet has that sense of cheekiness with a little side split running up the side.
I teamed it up with heels and a black bandeau top underneath on a recent trip to The Ivy – Manchester’s newest restaurant.
Keep an eye on my Instagram for some sassy outfit shots of me styling up these Freda Funk numbers!
