My Favourite Beauty Brands To Shop at LookFantastic

As Black Friday approaches, I’ve been updating my ‘must-have’ beauty list with the items I tend to always stock up on throughout the year. There is literally no better time for me to shop for my beauty essentials than over Black Friday and Cyber Weekend. I mean, I’m currently running low on my foundation, but it would be silly to shop it now when I know that very very soon there’s going to be sooooo many discounts online!

One of the places I go to first for my beauty products – whether it be skincare, makeup or haircare – is LookFantastic. I used to work for The Hut Group two year ago, and since then, I’ve always known just how friggin’ amazing their beauty retail sites are for giving incredible discounts.

LookFantastic is particularly my go-to, as I’ve found that along with stocking all the well-known brands, they tend to launch newer, less-heard of brands each month. This means some of those more coveted brands, like EX1 Cosmetics, can be found on the site, making it a pretty great one-stop retailer.

So let’s take a look at the brands I always head to LookFantastic to buy from…

FOREO

Not so long ago, I blogged about my experience using FOREO facial devices. It always thought it was slightly ridiculous when people would tell me that by using cleansing devices for the face, their breakouts would reduce. I gave it a go first with the Magnitone brush – which is utterly amazing – and more recently with FOREO.

LookFantastic offer an extensive product range across both FOREO and Magnitone, but it’s a new FOREO device that I’m wanting to stock up this November. I’ve always been dying to try out the FOREO sonic vibration toothbrushes too, as they are meant to be one of the most hygienic toothbrushes for overall teeth, gums and mouth health.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the discounts this Black Friday, or if they have any gift with purchases offers!

Vita Liberata

Ah my all-time favourite bodycare brand which offers false tanning products without being so… what’s the word… obvious? What I’m trying to say is that Vita Liberata always top my tanning list because they do false tan in a subtle way that no other brand quite does. For example, Body Blur has been a product I have repeatedly bought over the years.

I’m lucky to have been gifted the product before (and kindly so from LookFantastic over time) yet it’s always one that makes its way back on my ‘must order’ list.

A newer product from Vita Liberata I’ve been experimenting with is the Beauty Blur. It’s similar to Body Blur, except I use this as more of a skin tone optimizer, acting as a primer and adding a light tint of colpur and warmth to my face. It’s then up to me if I feel the need for foundation.

I tend to use shades in ‘Latte’ or ‘Light Latte’, both of which are moisturizing formulas which add a subtle touch of light tan, but more importantly, give my skin that blurred finished. Not to mention a super healthy looking glow!

Living Proof

I’ve loved this haircare brand for ages, but when I recently was gifted a travel sized set directly from the brand themselves, I really got into their ‘restore’ range when on holiday earlier this year.

It’s something about the sleek, contemporary packaging that always looks so lovely in my bathroom, along with the fresh scents and the creamy textures that have made me a firm fan of this range. Plus, the price points aren’t bad at all for what I’d describe as a luxury haircare brand.

I’ve currently got their Color Care range in my bathroom, as well as their Volume Range, and with full sized shampoo’s retailing at £22, I find it a reasonably priced brand for professional results and that seem to last for ages!

I only need a tiny amount of product from the Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner, and they go such a looooooong way.

NudeStix

I actually discovered Nudestix for the first time two years when I worked with The Hut Group and their beauty brands. It was actually – surprise surprise – Black Friday and I was looking at exploring brands on site that I hadn’t tried before. This led me to a concealer stick from Nudestix, which I soon starting using to double up as a brow highlighter too!

This then led me to explore all their other products, and now I’m pretty much obsessed. Not everywhere retails Nudestix, but LookFantastic always seem to be fully stocked with the brand, which in recent days I’ve started topping up on the lip products and all-over balms, as seen below.

EX1 Cosmetics

YESSSS this is one of my very favourite foundation brands, and you wouldn’t believe the amount of brides (and other bridal makeup artists I meet when on the job!) I get using this brand.

EX1 Cosmetics are huge news in America, and have slowly started to become more popular over here in the UK. However, I still find so many people have never heard of them before.

The foundations are majorly affordable – costing around £12.50 for the EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation at 30ml – and come in an array of shades. Plus, they look super pretty with their rose gold lids and bottle bottoms.

I have most shades of this foundation in my pro MUA kit for when I do wedding makeup, and the brides always fall in love with it. Especially when I tell them it is almost half the price of most big name foundation brands. I’ll be keeping an eye on this brand for the upcoming cyber weekend!

Balance Me

And last but certainly not least, Balance Me are a skincare brand I’ve also been a huge fan of for a long time. However, it’s currently their Hyaluronic Plumping Primer which has made it onto my continuous order list, which I recently reviewed here.

I rave about so many primers – from SmashBox to Benefit – but this one is one of the primers which really gives my skin a naturally healthier look. It plumps my skin immediately as well as infusing moisture, making it my newest favourite base for foundation.

The brand recently has launched new packaging, so it looks even sassier on my bathroom shelf.

Have you ever shopped at LookFantastic? Do you have any brands which you always buy from there, or any other retailers you obsess over? Do let me know!
