As some of you may know from my blog post a while back, I’ve been having a course of 6 Clearlift Laser treatments at Pierre Alexandre.
I decided to film exactly what happens during the procedure, as so many of you get slightly worried when you hear the word ‘laser’. So, if you skip to 13.40 over at my recent vlog, you can see exactly how it is carried out!
It was really good for me to see too, as obviously when I’m the one in the ‘hot seat’ having the Clearlift laser treatments done, I don’t actually know what the device looks like… (PS: Ignore my breakouts in these photos, someone ate too much dairy again and broke out!)
What is Clearlift Laser?
At Pierre Alexandre, they use the Alma ClearLift Laser, which is a revolutionary achievement of combining two forms of light therapy. This is the non-ablative Yag with the Pixel Q Switch.
I feel like it’s not yet become ‘too common’ – a lot of people ask me what exactly does it do. So, in a nutshell, it’s a form of light therapy which penetrates through the outer epidermis of the skin without any injury. Yet it goes deep into the dermis to stimulate collagen growth and skin remodeling.
ClearLift Laser treatments are gentle, and mainly used for skin tightening as a number one.
Why did I have it done?
The ClearLift laser treatments solve a multitude of problems. Everything from diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, breaking down pigmentation, controlling acne, tightening the skin, and producing new collagen for a more softer, youthful compexion.
I personally wanted my pigmentation and scarring to fade, which is why I went for the 6 session course.
The best bit is ClearLift is ideal to achieve a refreshed overall rejuvenation and tightening without any surgery or downtime.
Who can have it done?
The great news is that persons of all ages, all skin color and types can be candidates for the Laser Facelift. While many lasers are not suitable for people of color, this laser can be used on White, Black, Mediterranean, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin and people of ethnic diversity.
How many treatments are needed?
A course of 6 is ideal for ultimate results, however a course of 3 to 5 treatments be performed to achieve a great amount of tightening of the face and neck. These treatments should be separated once a month with a re-stimulation every 6 months. The treatments are quick and painless taking only 20 minutes, which is why the ClearLift is the ultimate lunchtime facelift. You can go right back to work after being treated by the ClearLift Laser.
How do I feel after 6 sessions?
I have to say, I’m super happy with this treatment as I feel my scarring has softened slightly. So it hasn’t completely gone, but I’m talking deeper acne scars and heavy pigmentation. But with each session, around 3-4 weeks after each one, I start to notice the softening.
Overall, I notice a fresher complexion, with a tightening effect and that toned, smooth skin after time. They say after the last session, you can expect to see new results appear up to 6 weeks after, so I’m eager to see these too!
