Fashion: Uniqlo Brand Focus

Today’s post is dedicated to the fashion brand Uniqlo – a brand I have been aware of for a long time however I had never stopped to browse the collections and see what Uniqlo have to offer. Anyway, I was recently speaking with someone from the brand which led to me check out the website and was pleasantly surprised at some of the lovely items of clothing they retail. As I have mentioned millions of times on the blog, I’m off to Ibiza in 4 weeks time, so I browsed the site with a ‘holiday eye’ in mind, picking out some new clothes which could be used for both holiday and home (love a bit of double usage…)

Because lime green is an up and coming colour, I spotted a cowl neck short sleeve top that would look great with jeans or tailored trousers for work, yet also could be nice to team with cut off denim shorts too. Cowl neck’s are great for showing off a torque necklace, or large statement collar, so when I first wore this I made sure I teamed up with a chunky gold neck plate from Jon Richard. The drape short sleeve T-shirt is a wardrobe essential, and for £12, there are so many tops like this available at Uniqlo. Check out the below…

The next item I received from Uniqlo was picked for the purpose of sunny Ibiza only – how cute are these print detail shorts? Reduced to £7.90, these are a really good buy! They currently have a pair available online in a different colour way to mine, but the same style. The material is really soft and I love a good elasticated waistline!

Now is possibly the best time to take a look at Uniqlo as the new AW13 collection has launched and there are some amazing little garments, including some stylish silk shirts and silk dresses at great prices. I’ll be popping over to the site for a few more wardrobe essentials!
