Even though my Summer trip to Barcelona is coming up soon, I haven’t really been thinking about what swimwear I want to invest in this year. Bikinis, tankinis, costumes… so many fantastic styles out there at the moment, but I have no idea which option to go for. I was recently introduced to the swimwear collection from Bon Prix, and the stunning array of swimsuits really drew me in – they have some gorgeous swimwear pieces! I also noticed that Bon Prix sell ‘swim dresses’, which are cute little costumes with a small skirt-like bottom. I’ve never actually seen these before and they look so lovely!
I wouldn’t usually be too keen on posting swimwear photos of myself on the blog, but as I was approached to take part in a Style Challenge with Bon Prix swimwear, I realised that the items are too beautiful not to share. So I selected the pretty Triangle Bikini from Rainbow, and set off to style it up a couple of ways!
I always feel more comfortable in swimwear when I am covering up a little bit. I wouldn’t say I am overly body conscious, but I just feel a little more secure with myself when I have a form of kaftan thrown on over, or a pair of little shorts on. So with this in mind, I teamed up my pink and black bikini with a couple of throw over’s and shorts to create a beach-ready look for the Bon Prix Style Challenge…
As you can see, the bikini goes with so many different colours and can look both glamorous and laid back. The burnt orange throw over and the deep gold kimono sleeve throw really amplify the glam factor of the bikini, yet the crochet top and black shorts give a much more casual look.
So overall I am pretty happy I was introduced to Bon Prix and their swimwear- I know this will be a bikini I get lots of wear out of, and if I decide to opt for some more fashion forward costumes, tankinis and the newly discovered swim dresses, I know where I’ll be heading!
