Beauty shopping on a budget

For those who regularly read What Emma Did, you’ll know I love uncovering a good bargain. There is something rather therapeutic  and fulfilling about discovering promotions and offers to help me save money, so every time I find a new money-saving deal, I love to share it on here. In standard Emma style, the deals I look for are often fashion and beauty related. Running this blog means I’m fairly addicted to clothing, makeup and accessories, so this time I used Groupon Coupons to help me save this time!

Firstly, after hearing so many excellent reviews around Tarte Cosmetics Lights Camera Flashes Mascara, I wanted to purchase the product in a bid to get my lashes vamped up a little bit. Plus, the shiny gold packaging is amazing. I knew I’d struggle as it isn’t a UK based brand, and if I’m going to invest in buying a make-up item online, I like to either pop a few more items in the order or at least get free delivery.

I managed to come across a couple of deals over at Groupon Coupons for Tarte Cosmetics, including a free lip product with my order, free samples and free shipping. Always good to know! I feel like this product is a real superstar inspired product – it’s metallic packaging is so fabulous, and the wand works really well to get right to the root of my lashes, coating them fully in a dramatic black liquid, and separating them at the same time. The shade really is a deep black, and just one coat of this gives me super dark, flirty lashes. Take a peek at my photos to have a look yourself…

You’ll notice that the blog post I put together before this was discussing everything related to beauty box subscriptions, and what I personally love about them. In a follow up to the post, I thought I’d try to find an online deal to introduce readers to a cheaper way of getting into them, and I also found some offers for Birchbox beauty box service at Groupon Coupons too. The offers let you get 20% off purchases, which is a lovely little introduction to the world of beauty boxes.

A couple of other promotions and deals I came across whilst trawling the website included ones I felt a few fellow bloggers or web savvy readers would appreciate, such as deals with Go Daddy. I personally use this site myself to host my domain, so if you are thinking of creating a new blog or website, it could be handy to do this going via a coupon deal. Domains aren’t too expensive to start with depending on what you wish to call your site, so you may as well jump on more savings this way and get it super affordable.

I guess you know yourself better than I what types of discounts you’re looking for, so maybe take a little browse yourself and see if your favourite brand is listed. I’m pretty obsessive about ways to save extra pennies, so if you come across any you feel need sharing, just comment below and let me know your opinions!
