A Fashionable Weekend: Clothes Show Live

Last weekend, I attended what can only be described as  ‘A Shoppers Paradise’. I took my Clothes-Show-Virgin sister with me and headed down to The Clothes Show Live, but this time attending as a customer instead of the press, as I decided to take a well-earned weekend off from working!

A round-up of my favorite brands from the weekend had to be Barry M and the £10 product bags they put together, which contained a brilliant selection of glittery products, Pepper Tree for their budget fashionable dresses (I quickly picked one up to wear for my Saturday night), and stylish brand Max C.

I have visited Birmingham a number of times before for work purposes, but have never spent any time socialising in the city. However, me and my sister headed to Birmingham’s Mailbox on the Friday evening and I have to say I was very impressed. It has a selection of designer stores such as Harvey Nichols, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss and DKNY, and an array of restaurants all of different cuisines in one place. We opted for an indian restaurant called Crystal Rivers, and its beautiful decor was just as impressive as the food.

Also, a big thank you to the Ramada Encore hotel, we took advantage of a discount deal prior to booking, and we were happy to find it had a fabulous central location, with a lovely modern interior. A great weekend!
