Styling Up Two Pairs of Trousers From Missyminx

I love being versatile when it comes to fashion. Before I make any purchases, I always have this one question in my head: can I dress this item up and down?

It might seem silly to some of you. You may shop for a dress to wear for a wedding and only want it for that occasion. But for me, I like having a wardrobe full of items I get multiple wear out of.

So when it comes to shirts and tops, I think of whether they will go with skinny jeans or leggings for casual days, but then I also think will they suit tailored trousers or a pretty skirt and heels for evenings.

When it comes to trousers, I ask myself: Can I throw an oversized jumper over these for those days I’m going to look around the shops on a quiet Sunday? And, can I team them with a shirt or blazer for business meetings?

I recently picked out two pairs of trousers from online retailer Missyminx, and did the exact same thought process beforehand. The first pair are the White Houndstooth Pattern Belted Trousers – which you can see how I have styled them above and below…

The second are the Black Croc High Waisted Trousers, which I have styled up below. These are absolutely gorgeous, by far my favourite pair of trousers I now own. I have had so many compliments both out and about and on Instagram over these trousers.

They look super premium and luxe, but cost just £20. They are very fitted on the waist but looser on the leg, making them perfect for wearing ankle boots, court heels, wedges, sandals or even trainers/sport pumps.

In fact, both trousers were £20 each, and I can literally style them both up and down as I please. Baggy oversized jumpers, check. Smart, sassy evening shirt, check. Graphic tee, check. Heels, check, Flat pumps, check. You get my drift…

If you love your trend led online retailers, it’s worth checking out Missyminx. I had a right good old time browsing the site on a hunt for new trousers to add to my Spring wardrobe!
