My Personalised Thameen Hope Fragrance at Selfridges

Luxury fragrance brand Thameen put on an incredible service at Selfridges Exchange Square in December, which is one of the loveliest services I’ve experienced for a long while.

Thameen were on hand to offer complimentary hand-engraving to customers who purchased their luxury fragrances – making a fantastic gift for others, or simply to treat yourself.

The engraving was beautifully etched by hand, and customers went ahead with the desired names or initials onto the bottle whilst they waited.

So what did I go for?…

I went for a special version just for me, in which I chose The Hope extrait de parfum, which is the latest addition to Thameen’s dazzling Treasure Collection. It is a homage to the lustrous and iconic Hope Diamond, mirroring its brilliance.

The scent itself is pretty deep and powerful, opening with the warm radiance of Cinnamon Bark, Myrrh and Cloves. It also has base notes of Black Amber, Labdanum Resin (from the Mediterranean Rock Rose), Musk and Vetiver, making this one of the most sophisticated scents I’ve ever owned!

Instead of getting my name engraved, I went for ‘2019’ – a special touch for me meaning that this is now my own exclusive fragrance for the new year. A luxury scent for special occasions for me to happily spritz in the new year.

I just love how delicate and pretty the hand engraving looks. So professional and stylish, it’s one of those bottles I just keep staring at and want to display in the most prominent place on my dressing table.

Thameen fragrances are available at Selfridges Exchange Square, and this bottle of The Hope comes at £145 for 50ml.
