Well it’s rainy outside and the dark nights are rolling in, so I thought it was a nice time to cheer you up by offering a fun little adventure day out! The kids will be breaking up for Christmas before you know it and start to get bored, but if you just fancy a day trip to a local attraction just with a group of mates too, then you will also benefit from this competition I am running!
A bit of info – The Blackpool Tower has been a fun and family friendly day out for a long time, offering lots of things to see and explore on the way up (as well as spectacular views across Blackpool). It’s difficult to find people these days who haven’t been- it’s such a good place to be brought as a child, exploring the piers, beaches and rows of arcades and amusements. And of course not forgetting a slice of true Northern cuisine at the seafront… yep, fish, chips and mushy peas!
So take your next trip on another level by exploring The Blackpool Tower Dungeon. Bringing together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes and a ride in a truly unique and exciting walk-through experience that you see, hear, touch, smell and feel, it’s an exciting addition to a Blackpool trip! It’s said to be hilarious fun and actually is a bit scary too.
When you read up on reviews, visitors have loved it. There’s a drop ride, 10 laugh out loud actor led shows, and state of the art special effects. It is also said to be educational as the shows are based on real Lancastrian history and legends (minus the boring bits). You’ll get up close and personal with sinister characters including Captain Johnson from the notorius Skippool smuggling gang and Alizon Devize, the infamous Pendle Witch. Throw in 360° sets, full on authenticity and theatrical storytelling, and there you have it – a fun day out!
There’s much more information available here, so check out the site.
