As from the end of this week, it’s officially Spring, so I’m starting to knock myself out of my dull Winter mood and prepare for the ‘happier’ season. I’m such a Spring/Summer girl – I literally hate the Winter and anything related to cold days, freezing nights and pitch black skies.
This year, I have so much to look forward to for the Spring Summer ’16 season – I become a full time blogger, my little niece gets christened (and I become a godmother!), I have various friends hen parties, it’s my 30th, and hopefully I’ll also be planning a few holidays in there too!
To kick-start the beginning of Spring, I’ve updated my wardrobe with one key piece to begin with, which is this gorgeous powder blue jumpsuit from Girls on Film, which cost £45 at Little Mistress. It actually looks a little more light grey than powder blue in my opinion, which for is great because I absolutely love pale grey clothing! It’s lightweight and airy, with a little halter neck fastening behind the neck and a slight flare to the bottoms. This is definitely going to be my christening outfit for April…
So now I’ve updated my wardrobe with a new key outfit, my next Spring aim was to plan a trip this Summer. There are so many places I want to jet off to, and more so this year because I didn’t actually go away last year with buying my house (grown up priorities…grrr!). So I’d like to plan to spend my holidays in Sicily this year since I’ve heard so many nice things about this island, mainly regarding how stunning it is to visit, and how the place has that real Italian feel and history about it. Regarding the accommodation, after a quick search online I found wishsicily.com that offers many beautiful villas in Sicily for rent to enjoy my holidays in total privacy. I’ve also booked some interesting excursions such as the Mount Etna, which I’ve always dreamt to to do.
I guess I’ll have to work up a bit of a plan about what I can work in this year. Either way… this girl needs some sunshine for sure.
Enjoy the start of Spring everyone, and I’ll be posting a few more Spring related posts this week!
