I recently heard that Neal’s Yard Remedies has introduced Superfoods and Antioxidents, a special category of foods found in nature and an addition to the internal health category. Superfoods are calorie sparse and nutrient dense, and contain sources of anti-oxidants and nutrients. Superfoods sold at Neals Yard include Baobab Powder, Green Tea, Olive Leaf, Chia Seed, Maca Powder, Organic Bee Pollen, Goji Berry, Mulberry and Rhodiola Powder. The ingredients can be used in a range of food and drinks such as smoothies, porridge, granola and baking, starting at just £2. So if your also like me and are trying to ‘cut out the crap’ and aim for a cleaner way of eating, maybe you could head to this natural beauty retailer for more than just your beauty products!
Recently I’ve been on a bit of a health kick, trying to ‘eat clean’ and work out regularly. I’m doing well, although a couple of nights a week I do break the rules and have the odd slice of cake of a really cheesy pizza. With the odd cheat day aside, I’m actually really proud of myself, making sure I mainly drink water or Green Tea and stick to three medium sized meals a day with no snacking!
