Lifestyle: Design Your Own Custom Made Invites

I thought I’d break off from my usual beauty and fashion talk today, and share with you a website I have come across which has been helping me out huuuuugely! Basically, I thought 2016 had been a manic year for events and craziness, but I had no idea what 2017 had in store for me. From baby showers and birthday invitations, to anniversaries and weddings, it’s been a busy one when its come to events.

And it hasn’t stopped yet. I still have lots of key events to take charge of over the next few month before the year comes to an end.

Some of the events and celebrations I need to get equipped for include arranging a baby shower for my twin sister, plus lots of little celebration stationary for when the little baby boy actually arrives! That aside, I’ve agreed to help some of my friends with invites and creatives for birthday milestones and various upcoming parties.

I try to sit down and design things myself. I mean, my A* in Art GCSE surely can’t go to waste, not to mention my OK-ish skills across photoshop and illustrator. But in a realistic world, I’ve shot myself in the foot because I hardly have time to pee, let alone start a design from scratch.

So I’ve decided I’m handing over to Basic Invite – a site which lets you customize invitations to the style, color and spec that you want. Whether its a general get together or a wedding invite, you can create beautifully bespoke invites which are professional, yet pretty. Because we have to be a little snobby about what we hand out, right? When it comes to me creating an invitation to party, I want to do a brilliant job.

As I’m tasked with creating some party and birthday celebration invites for next month, in particularly sweet 16 birthday invitations, I’m currently turning to Basic Invite for a bit of help. And here’s some reasons why I’m happy letting this site take over!

Almost Unlimited Colors – Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. You simply select a design, and then you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color. I haven’t yet found a site similar to this what gives me so many colour options, so I can literally add shades as I please.

Custom Samples – For those big birthday milestone events, I always want to see a sample first so I can be sure I’m happy before distributing. Here, you can order a printed sample of the actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before placing the final order.

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes – Basic Invite is just as colorful with their envelopes as with their invitations in general! Customers can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to their envelopes so that they can make their invitation stand out even before it is opened. All envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.

Free Address Collection Service – A fab service for someone pressed for time like me! They have a free address collection service in which you request your addresses with just three simple steps: Share a link, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing. Hooray!
