Calling all foodies! Fancy attending a Manchester based food festival, dedicated to the Manchester restaurant and bar scene, celebrating the finest food and drink?

In a nutshell, Manchester Eats, taking place at Heaton Park from July 7-8 this year, with be all about famous faces and fabulous food. Manchester Eats brings high-class cuisine to Heaton Park this July, and the foodie nation cannot wait.

Manchester Eats is a brand-new food festival, which may be why you won’t be familiar with it. It will see the park transformed into a food lovers’ paradise.

The festival, which will also include talks and workshops from top celebrity chefs and mixologists, will celebrate Manchester’s growing restaurant and bar sector, and its reputation as the food capital of the north. Visitors can participate in classes including vegan & vegetarian cooking, a chocolate masterclass and even cooking for kids.

Guests will have the chance to preview new recipes and exclusive tasty treats, across areas including a prosecco tent, global food court and a healthy living zone.

There are already a host of exciting names on the exhibitor list, including Cottonopolis, Proove Pizza and Manchester Gin, with more being added each week in the run up to the weekend.

Official charity partners the Diane Modahl Sports Foundation will be providing an activity zone on both days with interactive, accessible sporting activities for both children and adults. The event also features a dedicated children’s village and live DJ sets.

I don’t know about you, but I’m positive this is going to be a huge hit, and will again put Manchester firmly on the map as a foodie favourite.

And just when it couldn’t get much better, rock star of the kitchen Marco Pierre White will be at the festival, demonstrating his mastery as a chef as well as participating in a Q&A session.
