Calling all brunch fans – and Kahua fans!
Last night, myself, a friend of mine and a fellow blogger headed down to uber cool venue The Loft, on Manchester’s Quay Street. We were off to experience a launch for something exciting happening in our city: Kahlúa is bringing its very own Brunch Club to Manchester.
Did someone say Kahlua? As in, thee Espresso Martini liquer? I think they diiiiiid!
Kahlua is the next brand experience to be hosted at The Loft, Pernod Ricard UK’s new event space on Quay Street, and involves an interactive food and cocktail making brunch experience
Kahlúa is bringing its very own Brunch Club to Manchester to celebrate the most Instagramable meal of the day. The original coffee liqueur will deliver its offering at a selective list of dates in April and May, where guests will be treated to brunch and an exclusive Kahlúa cocktail masterclass.
The Brunch Clubs will boast classic brunch dishes from local culinary experts Grape and Grain, such as smashed avocado and poached egg and Kahlúa infused pancakes.
All accompanied by the perfect cocktail companion, the Chokahlúa Orange, a refreshing blend of Kahlúa, tequila, cacao syrup and fresh orange, designed by bartender Chris Bains from neighbouring city hangout, Australasia.
Priced at £12 for super early birds and £20 for full price tickets, each session includes food, Kahlúa inspired cocktails, an Espresso Martini masterclass and time to enjoy the chilled out Kahlúa-themed games space. Guests will leave having made their own Kahlúa cocktails and enjoyed an Instagram worthy brunch!
Victoria Hole, Venue Manager at The Loft said:
“Heading out for brunch with friends and family has become hugely popular, with Brits now spending £76 million every day on the occasion. We know people love brunch, so have designed a place where guests can enjoy delicious food, get to know what is included in their favourite brunch cocktails and even have a go at making their own. If that wasn’t enough, it gives people the chance to have a sneak peek inside a brand-new space in the centre of the city. ”
The Brunch Club will launch on Saturday 21st April, with an early sitting of 11am until 1pm, and a later sitting from 1.30pm until 3.30pm. The two sessions will be available on:
- Saturday 21stApril
- Sunday 22ndApril
- Saturday 5thMay
- Sunday 6thMay
- Monday 7thMay
- Saturday 26thMay
- Sunday 27thMay
- Monday 28thMay
The launch evening was a great way to experiencing the food and drink on offer, with up to 4 speciality Kahlua cocktails.
My favourite was the Chocolate Orange infused Kahlua cocktail, which was packed with chocolate dusted ice and an orange flavoured liqueur blended with the Kahlua coffee taste. Delicious!
I’m hoping to get myself down there on May 28th to have a real sit down Kahula brunch club experience. So watch this space!
