Fashion: Wearing Simply Beach This December

I recently posted some gorgeous new outfits on my Instagram last week, and had such a positive response via comments, likes and DM’s that I really wanted to share them on here.

See the thing is, I’ve been wearing a number of gorgeous items from an online retailer called Simply Beach, who retail stunning, high quality fashions that span across swim and beach wear.

So you may be wondering why I’ve been wearing them in December, if I’m not currently on holiday. And I see where you’re coming from. But I guess the purpose of this post is to show you have I carefully selected some beautiful pieces which can indeed be worn for my next holiday, yet I can also get some sassy wear out of them in December.

So lets start with this super pretty dress, which is a beach dress from Australian brand Seafolly. I’ve been a huge fan of the Seafolly bikinis for a long time, and I was pleased to see Simply Beach stocking a fantastic range. The brand is known for their high quality, stylish swimwear that is constantly seen on celebrities and influencers all over the internet (and instagram, of course).

I decided to carefully choose a long, flowing dress that would look perfect for my next beach holiday, but also one that would look a little show stopping and not out of place if I was to wear it here in the UK, too.

With that in mind, let me introduce the sweet Seafolly Mid Summer Florals Maxi Beach Dress in Indigo.

As you can see, with it’s dark navy/indigo colourway and plunging neckline, it actually resembles a glamorous dress to wear for parties, or day drinks here in the UK.

It actually comes with a tie detail, meaning the tie can either be done up to the front to create a cute bow style, or tied at the back, as per my styling above and below, which makes the dress a little more plunging.

I personally prefer the tie to the back, but I do feel the front bow tie detail gives it that touch of cute Summer glamour for those beach days. But for now, I’ll stick with the daring plunge…

Now my favourite item of all from Simply Beach is my next item, which has fast become a wardrobe staple for me. I know right, when your beachwear becomes wardrobe staples, you know you’re doing something right!

Again from Seafolly (I’m now addicted to this brand therefore I’m so happy I’ve come across Simply Beach) this active multi strap surfsuit is a black bodysuit perfect to wear on the beach. It’s a great one to swim in if you want to look fashionable, but without bearing too much skin.

I’ll certainly be taking it on my next trip away, but for the meantime, how well does it double up as a sassy bodysuit? I’ve teamed it with a pair of black loose fitting culottes, and I could happily pop on the heels and where this out. It’s so comfy too!

Now the next one is definitely one I’m saving aside for warmer weather, but at the same time, it has the potential to double up as an oversized casual shift dress that looks pretty awesome paired with my ankle boots.

You’ll not be surprised that yes again, this is a Seafolly number. It’s the Swing Beach Shirt in Black, a chic little number which is the perfect cover up to throw over a bikini or swimsuit whilst on holiday.

I’m wearing it loose here with bare legs – another stylish way to wear this when that Sun comes back out again! But there is also every chance you’ll catch me wearing this with a fitted blazer and skinny jeans for the UK winter, too.

Last but not least, I’m now going onto an active wear top which is a brilliant item to double up for both the gym and sports activities, and of course, the beach.

It’s the Seafolly SWYM Active Tank in Black, which is a soft and comfy 100% cottonĀ tank top, with a bold logo across the front. The lightweight 100% cotton design is complete with a ribbed neck and armhole detail, perfect for teaming with leggings for a workout or shorts for lounging.

This will be added to my gym collection for the next few months, but come holiday season, this will look perfect teamed with my high waisted denim shorts and tucked in for a sporty Summer style.

Now I guess the next thing is to get the most out of these beautiful items with a Winter twist, before I put them to the Summer twist test next year!

I’m super happy to have found some fabulous items at Simply Beach – it’s 100% going to be my go to when I top up on new bikinis for 2019…
