Fashion: Puerto del Carmen Outfit Showcase

Although it’s been a couple of weeks since I returned from my trip to Puerto del Carmen, I wanted to share a few of my favourite evening outfits which I’ve been posting on Instagram.

Firstly, I’m all about the evening dress, but for this particular trip, I wanted to focus on more shorter, sassier styles. A bit of a younger, fun look, so I opted for keyhole mini dresses, bright printed shorts paired with vest tops, and even experimented with a bit of white.

I actually went a little crazy over on Everything 5 Pounds before I went too, reaping the awards to discount shopping as I was on a little bit of a budget.

The first one is the dress above, which is from New Look. It’s cute, sassy and has a quirky little keyhole cut out feature to give it a bit of attitude. I absolutely love a high neck too, therefore I do really love this dress. I can’t remember the exact price but I’m certain it cost no more than £22.99!

My second outfit choice was again from New Look, although purchased over a year ago (sorrrrrrry – but I’m sure they have similar styles! New Look are fantastic at stocking colourful little shorts in a range of designs).

The shorts were £19.99 and they are perfect to pair with dark grey, grey, cream, white and black due to the bright lime colour.

As for my third outfit, I experimented with a splash of bright white with this sequin detailed shift dress. It’s a loose fitting from Everything 5 Pounds, which I ordered in July, so as you can guess, it cost just £5 and looked super with a holiday tan!

And lets not forget about a little dressy playsuit that’s very teeny tiny! This Topshop burgundy playsuit is one of my very favourites.

Because I was going on a quick little getaway, I wanted to budget and not spend a lot of money on new items. However, I have a couple of events coming up, including end of summer weddings and big birthdays, so now I’m looking for classier, keepsake items which are perfect for those ‘fancier’ occasions.

My wish list is growing as I’ve discovered a new love for Coast and their fantastic evening outfits. I LOVE the light grey culottes below, and some of the floaty, sheer dresses are just perfect.

I always associate Coast for retailing outfits which are timeless and ooze class and style, but I haven’t really shopped there before. Now I’m 31, and I’m realising the important of those wow outfits you can keep in your wardrobe which made you look super sophisticated, I’ve suddenly become Coast’s biggest fan.

Do you have a new retailer obsession? If so, feel free to share!
