It’s not often I opt for a relaxed, boho style when it comes to dresses, but this week see’s me doing so. I love the simplicity and hippy vibe of this lace up detail swing style dress, which of course comes in one of my favorite colours – navy.
The dress itself is from JOY, and is called the Valley of the Dolls Algoso V-Neck Lace-Up Front Dress, worth £49.99. It’s a super lightweight viscose feel, with an empire line and soft pleats, letting it fall loosely just above the knee. Its one of those styles which I can pair with black heels for a bit of a date night, or with some funky ankle boots for any day trips, festivals or casual events. Every now and again I love to throw on a relaxed fit dress, and to me, this dress certainly ticks those boxes!
Another lovely fashion item that’s a new addition to my life is this stunning lingerie set from Freya Fancies – a pretty little range from Freya. When it comes to underwear brands, I’m not usually too clued up on what brands I love and don’t love, as I’m yet to have any brand loyalty in this area. I tend to just shop as usual, and then if I see a lovely little set, I’ll just buy it.
However, after browsing Freya and their Freya Fancies range, I could soon be changing my mind. This amazing new collection is colourful, lacy and feminine and is offered in plunge, longline and bralette style bras that can be worn with Brazilian, shorts, suspenders and chemise matching co-ordinates – lots of choice in other words! One of my favourite features of this collection is that it can be mixed and matched within the collection and even better mixed and matched across the entire Freya AW16 collections. I’m a bit of a sucker for mixing and matching – I’m sure some of you girls know what I mean when I say trying to match your underwear everyday can get a little impossible… (well I hope so of you agree!)
This Freya Fancies set in particular is the bralette set, which comes with some super cute frilly white lacy briefs and a white bow. It’s more of a style which I can wear in the Summer underneath vest tops and light materials, where it’s a pleasure to wear in terms of no padding or wires sticking out. I have a fairly petite frame so it’s nice to feel comfortable in a soft, cotton and lace style set which seamlessly fits under my clothing.
If you need a little bit of lingerie inspiration, or want to start looking at some new designs for the autumn/winter season, I’d suggest having a little look at Freya. It’s a beauty of a site, and one I’m glad to have discovered for the next time I need to do a little bit of an update!
