When I randomly got the heads up at work the other day that our annual Christmas party date would be confirmed asap, I had a mini freak out. I just blogged about my favourite late Summer swimwear the other week, and now I’m being forced to think about party dresses and December events. Luckily, dress shopping is one of my favourite past times, so the task in itself will be an enjoyable one no doubt. It’s just coming around way too quick!
I recently came across a dress retailer last week called Wow Celeb, who specialise in celebrity inspired glamorous dresses. The dresses take on the latest trends, but also feature some classic styles too, and the best bit about them is that all the styles are super affordable. I’m always scouting around online on the look out for undiscovered dress retailers and little boutiques, especially those which resemble independant boutiques and have worked hard to build up their own dedicated dress collection.
With celebrity fashions in mind, Wow Celeb currently retail a beautiful dress called the Viva Bodycon Dress, which is a fitted number with a striking low back detail. Although a bodycon fit, the skirting detail is slightly draped which makes me feel slightly less restricted. I have this in a khaki colour, but the black colourway is that little more timeless and is the current one I’m lusting for. You can see the fit and style of the Viva dress on my photographs below – excuse my face unaware I was snapped!
I’m fairly short in height (5 ft 3) so if you are a little bit taller than me, you’ll experience this type of dress as less midi and more knee length, which is also a lovely fit.
If you need a little bit of dress inspiration for the upcoming party season, I’ve teamed up with Wow Celeb to offer my readers 10% off any orders placed over £50, just by entering emma15 at the checkout.
I don’t know about you, but this year I’m really loving midi dresses and knee length cuts for dresses. I’m also going to start hunting down some evening dresses with a full sleeve too, as the fitted bodycon look with long sleeves looks just that little bit more classier and perfect for the colder months. What style of dress will you be shopping for this Winter?
