Fashion: Matalan Spring Summer 2012

Most of you will probably will remember I kicked off Matalan’s fashion blog when it launched in 2010, working for them on the blog for the first 6 months. Working with the brand was a fantastic opportunity – not only did I get the chance to go on shoots with them and to various fashion events, it also opened my eyes to how their collections have really turned around in the last few years.

So when I receieved their Spring Summer Ladieswear Lookbook this morning, I eagerly flipped through the pages hoping not to be disappointed. And of course I wasn’t – and I doubt you ladies will be too! This season, they’ve focused on laid back fashions, with cute trim shorts, cable tops, sorbet shades and feminine styling. There’s relaxed styled garments in a range of block colours, which will look great teamed up with the range of pastel toned jeans and shorts. Even the design of the look is too pretty!

Want to see my wish list? I’ve picked some lifestyle shots where I love the whole entire outfit!

And here’s some individual pieces I can’t wait to add to my upcoming spring wardrobe! Although looking out of a window right now which shows me lashes of rain and horrendous winds, maybe I’ll have to hold on for a little bit! Ah well at least we can admire!

Keep an eye out across Matalan stores for their gorgeous SS12 collections launching soon, as well as on www.matalan.com!
