Fashion: Converse and Ripped Jeans

It’s been a while since I have put together a simple #OOTD ‘outfit of the day’ post on here, so today I thought I would showcase a casual daytime look I’ve been sporting. As we are in full swing for the Winter months, and quickly coming up to the party season, I wanted to steer away from a dressed up party look and focus more on a favourite Autumn daytime look. I honestly love nothing more come Autumn than dressing down in a fitted vest top, a snuggly long cardigan, ripped jeans and comfy Converse trainers. My Converse trainers are my actual hero shoes – they might not be the most sturdiest shoe out there or the most waterproof for the colder months, but they go with everything and make the most simple outfits look uber-cool…

My trusty pair of Converse literally go with anything, from a denim skirt and tights combo, skater dress and bare legs, to my favourite pairing of all – Converse and ripped jeans. This is my first ever pair of Converse as I have been pretty slow on the uptake of purchasing them, but now I’m looking to expand my collection!

As I’m managing to get lots of wear out of my All Star Ox Leather trainers, next on my wishlist is a pair of hi-top inspired Converse such as the Womens CT All Star Hi White sneaker style, which are super affordable over at M and M Direct. These stylish hi-top shoes are only £29.99, but there are also lots of other classic and contemporary Converse styles even more affordable on there too. Quite a nice gift for girlfriends or family members coming up to Christmas too!

Do you own a trusty pair of Converse? I’ll be wearing mine as long as I can this Winter, before I have to switch to the wellies when the snow and rain comes along…
