When I was in the thick of my fashion career, I spent a good 3 and a half years working within PR for a High St retailer who specialised in jewellery and accessories. I could waffle on about how amazing the job was, but lets cut to the chase. Working for this brand meant I had access to extra buyers samples and press samples which were rejected before going into stores, meaning that I had literally enough jewellery to last me a lifetime. And it pretty much did – I left the role almost 3 years ago and I haven’t had to buy myself much jewellery at all. However, that was quite a few years ago, and I’ve felt myself being a little dissatisfied that I haven’t added many shiny new pieces to my accessories collection for such a long time.
I’m a staple Sterling Silver girl, so I decided it was time to invest in a beautiful pair of ‘everyday’ earrings. I wanted something a little more special than a standard stud, but nothing too ‘dangly’ or obvious. Mococo is a lovely place to start the hunt because they retail some of my favourite accessory brands, from Chlo Bo to Oliva Burton, to the daintier Alex Monroe and Daisy.
So here we have it, my new everyday sterling silver earrings I opted for from Daisy. They are a stunning pair of Heart Chakra drop earrings, with a little hoop detail before the drop Chakra pendants.
I have a real love for jewellery that has little meanings, therefore this style in particular are rather spiritual. The Daisy brand explain that in yogic traditions, the Chakras are the manifestations of spiritual energies on the physical level, responsible for well-being and a happy, healthy life. The Chakra earrings from Daisy are designed to balance your Chakras and ensure your life force and vital energy. The Silver Heart Chakra earrings which I am now a proud owner of are designed to serenely balance your Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra is emotionally connected with Love, Self-Control and Forgiveness, and comes in 3 different metals. They say that Silver in particular is a highly feminine metal, often associated with the moon and known for its positive influence on fertility and emotional stability. How lovely does that sound?
For £39, they are a nice little present idea too if you have any special occasion birthdays coming up for your friends or family.
What I love about shopping over at Mococo is that the brand is dedicated to providing jewellery and accessory all of a similar theme – timeless, elegant and classic pieces from the nation’s most beautiful brands. I am totally lusting after an Olivia Burton watch after browsing their site, and I know so many of my friends check them out due to their extensive Pandora and Thomas Sabo range. I actually saw their little boutique store in Chester when I visited the city for a weekend. Such a shame there isn’t one in Manchester!
