If you read beauty magazines online or keep an eye of celebrity social media, you may have seen Kourtney Kardashian rave about one of the foundations she wears: Oxygenetix Oxgenating Foundation. She’s said to love it, and as face of the brand, has been seen wearing it.
So what is the Oxygenetix Oxgenating Foundation? And why is Kourtney K such a big fan?
I like to call it a ‘treatment foundation’. Created originally for doctors, Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation has been developed to deliver consistent, lightweight, reparative coverage – correcting and perfecting simultaneously. It’s infused with a supercharged oxygen complex – ‘Ceravitae’ – which is an innovative treatment formula to encourage skin cell oxygenation, cell repair and renewal processes, diminish scarring, combat dehydration, reduce redness and create the ultimate environment for healthy cells to thrive. So whether you’re a foundation-phobe seeking weightless skin-enhancement, or simply looking for an all-round treatment-tinted moisturiser, Oxygenetix is designed for you.
The photo above is me without makeup on – no foundation, concealer or even moisturiser for that matter. I do usually like to build up quite a full coverage foundation look, but to give myself a break, I wanted to try the Oxygenetix Foundation to see how I felt. I decided to use two layers to build up the coverage, with a bit of Benefit concealer under my eyes, and to my surprise, this foundation gave me wonderful coverage!
It felt so light and airy to apply, and was super easy to blend into my skin. I lightly dusted a layer of Dermablend setting powder on top (literally just a once over) and ta-da, the below photos show my face!
Just a note, these photos were taking standing in front of a window, which can make your skin in photographs look a little brighter and smoother than in normal light…
I can see why celebs love it, and it also is a great one to use for when you work out, as its specialism is allowing your skin to breath, It;’s also water-resistant for up to 90 minutes with an SPF of twenty-five. Bonus!
In a nutshell, Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation applies effortlessly – blurring imperfections while repairing damaged tissue and reducing signs of stress. I found it easy-to-blend (you can mix several shades to achieve a bespoke match), and I like knowing that this innovative formula accelerates healing, diminishes scars and encourages collagen synthesis – so skin not only looks more even, but gradually becomes so. Skin strength and resilience are enhanced, while fine lines, imperfections and tell-tale signs of dehydration aim to be diminished.
I’ll continue to use, and see if I notice the results!
