I always find that one of the finer things in life, when it comes to beauty, is luxury hair care. There is just something about using a premium, professional range of hair care products that makes you feel that little bit more special. When I leave the salon after having a cut and colour, I always notice the condition of my hair feels 100 times better, and also has that gorgeous scent to it from the quality products used.
One brand in particularly I love experiencing at the salon is Kerastase. I’m sure you’ll have spied these products before, even if you haven’t been lucky enough to use them yet. I had a Kerastase treatment at a salon in Manchester a couple of months ago, where moisture and thickening properties were added to give m hair the benefits of both these areas. It also last for three washes, and I couldn’t have been more impressed! (you can take a look at the post here if you want to know a little more!)
I finally decided it was time to own some hero Kerastase products of my own, following a full head of highlights about two weeks ago. If I’m going to be going lighter for the Summer, I need to up my hair protection, right?
As mentioned various times on the blog, I suffer from hair breakage due to bleaching, and an overall thin, fine texture of hair. I searched for a Kerastase retailer online and came across Kalisa Haircare – an online hair product retailer which specialises in professional hair brands. From Tigi, L’Oreal Profession and Schwarzkopf, to premium designers such as Kevin Murphy or Paul Mitchell, Kalisa Haircare has the most extensive range.
When browsing the products on offer, I looked for a specialist range which caters for my flat, limp hair, and came across the Kerastase Resistance Volumifique range. The ‘Complete Care’ set features a thickening effect shampoo, a volumising conditioner, and a volumising spray. all designed to work in harmony together.
So far, I’ve noticed that they work incredibly well at ‘plumping’ up my lifeless hair, giving if texture and volume along with moisturisation. But by fay, my favourite product has to be the Volumising spray, I just love it! I spray it on to my damp hair, brush through with a comb, and blow dry as normal.
From the first use, I noticed it works well to give my locks that little bit of body it’s missing – and the added bonus of reducing any static too!
Overall I was really pleased with my order from Kalista Haircare, and feel pretty happy I have discovered such a dedicated professional hair care site. I feel like the prices are a little more affordable on this site, as they regularly feature discounts which can save you money. Because lets face it – luxury hair care can be more pricey, but I do find they always deliver quality results. Let’s hope I’m well on my way to healthier, more voluminous locks!
