Some of you may have read my blog post last week which was all about ‘My London Diary‘, which was basically a little round-up of my two days in London. As a pretty much full time blogger, I’ve started to up the amount of visits I make to London, following 2015 which saw me not really make the most of the blogger scene down there. It’s always a nightmare juggling London with work and Manchester commitments, but hopefully the big city will be seeing a lot more of me this year!
One of the events I popped down for was to attend the SS16 launch of GOSH cosmetics. I have been purchasing and trying out their products in Superdrug stores for such a long time, so it was nice to give myself a bit of time to venture to their new season blogger event. It was held at the super stunning Metropolitan by Como hotel (literally right next to the Nobu bar and restaurant… swanky!), where I was treated to a preview of the fabulous new collection. Before you ask, sadly I wasn’t staying in this hotel for the night. Next time eh *inserts wink face emoji*
So in usual What Emma Did style, I’m going to put together a dedicated review on all the amazing new product launches to come from the GOSH SS16 collection. But I just wanted to showcase a few of the photos from the press event to give you a sneaky little look first. Some of the incredible new make-up products include GOSH Lip Oils, which are luscious nourishing, moisturising oils rich in argan oil, macadamia oil, sea buckthorn and moringa oil and a raspberry oil derivative (Vitaskin E) – which is high in Omega 6 and 3 and Vitamin E. There are also beautiful colour palettes from the new style Matte Eyeshadows, which come in handy little compacts of nudes, browns, greys, and literally all my favourite muted shades. However, my favourite eye product of all on show was the GOSH Forever Matte Eyeshadow Sticks – a collection of brown and beige tinted eye crayons that have a rich matte finish and don’t smudge everywhere when applied to eyelids. You know that annoying sticky feeling some eye crayons leave, and then you notice blobs of colour rubbing off onto your upper lids… yeah none of that with these! The below photos show my eye lids wearing the shades, all blended together nicely.
Some other exciting little launches include a lovely new GOSH Primer plus Illuminating Skin Perfector, a striking Rebel Eyes mascara, and GOSH Lumi Drops – a tinted highlighting cream that you can either mix with foundation or moisturiser for an all over glow and subtle sheen.
I really want to start trying these out on myself this week so I can show you how they look, so stay tuned because I’ll get snapping away and show you the results real soon!
