Following World Vegan Day and my recent post about pure beauty (which seems to be getting an insane about of traffic – you can check it out here!), I decided to try out another makeup brand that prides itself on being clean and green: Introducing Ainsel London.
As a huuuuuge cosmetics junkie with being both a makeup artist and a beauty blogger, I’m always up for discovering new brands which live by the no nasties moto. If I’m going to be using makeup products everyday, I at least like to know the brand I’m using is cruelty-free. Here’s what made me listen up a little when I was recently introduced to Ainsel London…
- Food grade pigments
- No nasties
- Paraben, lanolin free
- No synthetic preservatives
- Recyclable packaging
This week I've been trying out cruelty free makeup, and next on the list is this @ainselofficial lipstick in shade camel coat! It's sooooooo lovely 👄 it's from their clean and green range, paraben free, no nasties, and has recyclable packaging 💕 . . . . #green #clean #ainsel #ainsellondon #crueltyfree #crueltyfreebeauty #nonasties #parabenfree #love #makeup #mua #makeuptutorial #makeupartist #bblogger #bbloggers #lips #lipstick #bloggers #girls #beauty #face #fotd #blonde #brows #instabeauty
As the caption in my latest Instagram post says, I’m wearing this stunning shade of lipstick from Ainsel called Camel Coat. It’s kind of a fresh peachy shade, but a little darker, with a hint of coral to brighten up my complexion.
All of Ainsel’s lipsticks are created in their London lab making sure that all the lippies are made with a conscience, with only the most innovative techniques. For those who seek out no parabens, no lanolin, no synthetic preservatives then this is possibly a range designed especially for you – and the deep shades are created from keeping the best food grade pigments in.
These ethical lippies retail at £21, and due to how pigmented they are and rich in colour, they last sooooo long. And in case you want to know a little more about what goes into them to create the soft, silky lip texture you get when you use, they are made with cocoglycerides, which are derived from coconut oil. Lovely!
