Touching down across all Office stores and the popular shoe destination www.office.co.uk is the largley anticipated Gorillaz by Converse collection! Long time Converse fans have eagerly been awaiting the launch of the collection, where the Gorillaz range gives the classic Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette an edge with four different looks inspired by the band. I don’t know about you, but I used to love the Gorillaz and think that as fashion and music go hand in handm this is a band with a funky edge and unique stance, making them a brilliant fashion muse!

The military inspired camouflage print, taken from the cover of their self-titled debut, is the signature design for the collection. The military theme is also featured on a black/brown canvas hi-top shoe featuring an image of their famous Pazuzu character. The lining of both designs have an exclusive print featuring a collage of images from their album artwork made specifically for this collaboration.

The collection also includes a Chuck Taylor All Star hi-top and oxford shoe with a black and white version of the print on the outsole and the Gorillaz camouflage print in the lining. Priced around £45 a pair, the shoes contain a Gorillaz heel tab and hangtag with additional details on the product.

As I say various times on the blog, I sadly don’t adopt a sporty chic style myself, but if any brand make me re-think my own personla style, onverse is one of them! I have always been a fan of the stylish lace-up shoes and it’s no secret they are a celebrity favorite across the globe. We’ve only been in 2012 for 2 months and already we’ve seen the footwear collaboration with Stylist Pick and Cheryl Cole, and now Converse and Gorillaz. I wonder which musical act will be next to put forward a fashionable step?
